On To The Next Chapter

June 26, 2016, Graduation Day. Marching up on stage with my parents to receive a medal is by far the best feeling in the world! During that moment, I was so overjoyed that for a second, I thought it was just a figment of my imagination that would soon dissolve.

It has been almost a week after that special day and I'm still on cloud nine! I thank God for this blessing and for giving me the strength to pursue this dream. However, I did not do this alone. I wouldn't have made it without my family and my friends who have been my constant sources of inspiration, strength, and comfort.

My four years in UP have been really tough. I've experienced walking alone along corridors, eating alone in cafeterias, staying up all night to work on papers or study for a 10-chapter exam, trying to stand out amongst classmates who graduated valedictorians or salutatorians of their high schools. With all the hustle and bustle of being a student, I knew that I shouldn't forget about my passion and doing more what is expected of me. I have to juggle my academics along with my resposibilities in my organizations, burger business, and of course, my blog. My days consist of balancing these priorities and giving equal and quality time to each of them. I have to admit it wasn't easy. There were countless times when I was on the verge of giving up. Despite these, I knew I had to keep going and to not let people down especially those who believed in me including all of you, my blog readers. Allow me to thank you guys for your non-stop support! and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. <3 Going back, I consider those as my most valuable experiences for I know that I'm coming out from this university as an independent, wiser, and stronger woman ready to face the real world. (yaaaasss) Bring it on, life! :)
