Christmas in Paris

One of the things I look forward to every Christmas is our annual family trips. My mom once told me it's important that we travel whenever we have the chance to while she and dad still have the strength to travel with us. Truth is, we won't be able to travel with our parents forever and so we have to savor the moments while we still can. This year, we went to Europe for the holidays. Our first stop was Paris and we stayed there only for a night. My parents wanted to spend Christmas there because... why not, right? Haha ;)

It was our third time to be in Paris and it still is amazinggg. We rode a plane to London and flew to Paris which took us only an hour. After checking-in at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, we went out to stroll around Marche de Noel des Champs Elyses - a Christmas market located in Champs Elyses, which is just a few blocks away from our hotel. Catching sight of the enchanting Christmas market instantly puts us in the perfect Christmas mood! From its festive vibe and the local food it offers - crepes and sausages to name a few- Ahhhh, everything was so dreamy and magical!

On Christmas day, we had a delectable breakfast (in French brasserie style) at a restaurant in our hotel. Thereafter we headed to Notre Dame cathedral to share prayers and wishes. After all, CHRISTmas is for Him.

As they say, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. And so we capped off the trip by enjoying the picturesque view of the tower. <3

Having the chance to tour Paris once again, I realized it's difficult not to fall in love with this beautiful city! From the food - croissants, macaroons, chocolates - to the night lights, and the Eiffel Tower, I think it has something for everyone to fall in love with. Hence, I finally understand why it got its name the "City of Love."

Looking for the perfect place to pop the question to the love of your life? Bring him or her to Paris and I'm sure it'll be a YES! <3
